In 1975 "Billy" Reed Garner and Robbie Lemley opened Billy Reed's restaurant. Billy's grandmother taught him real American baking such as her award-winning recipes for chocolate fudge, carrot, coconut-pineapple cakes, and are still made daily.
In 1987, the duo retired and the restaurant was sold to another duo, Lee and Marti Spencer. The Spencers still operate the business today, as well as owning the sixty-year old Smoke House restaurant in Burbank, California, and the world-famous Warehouse restaurant in Marina Del Rey, California.
The Spencers' philosophy for running the restaurant is simple, the customers are our guests and we are here to serve and please them. |
